filos is a greek word that means “friend”, and at ampelos we are very lucky to have an extended group of supporters and friends in wine. So it was an easy task when it came to naming our wine club – it is named for you! By joining filos, you will enjoy the following benefits:

• we’ll ship you one bottle each of two or three of our wines prior to their public release, so you’ll be the first to taste and enjoy these new wines!
• a 15% discount on wines in the shipment
• the ability to reorder with the same discount (when quantities allow)
• a filos only order page with your 15% discount applied to all current release wines
• annual filos-only special event, which will include a “futures” tasting
• special small-lot and library releases to filos members only
• private barrel tastings or vineyard tours
• an annual special merchandise item for filos top purchasers
• opportunity to join us for a day at harvest
• automatic enrollment in filos newsletters

There will be four shipments each year, and each will include winemaking notes and fact sheets on each wine. Membership will be limited, as many of the wines planned for filos shipments are small lot blends or bottlings, and extremely limited in quantity. We hope that you’ll join our circle of friends of the vine!

The small print: once enrollment is closed, we will maintain a waiting list for those who wish to join filos. There is no initial membership fee, simply the cost of each shipment (discounted wine plus $10 flat shipping fee plus applicable state tax). You may cancel your membership after two shipments, but must let us know 30 days in advance of the following shipment. We cannot substitute wines in the shipments – three shipments will contain only red wine, and one will include one red, one rosé and one white. Each shipment will be charged to your Visa, Mastercard or Amex credit card prior to shipment. We will notify you via email prior to each shipment, and request that you contact us immediately if you need to change your shipping address, put a vacation hold on the shipment or wish to pickup that shipment at the winery. If a shipment is returned to ampelos cellars for any reason except the fault of the common carrier, a re-shipment will be made at an additional charge for the actual shipping costs. Due to state laws regulating the shipment of alcohol, we can currently only ship to the following states: AZ, CA, CO, DC, FL, IA, IL, LA, MN, MO, NC, NH, NM, NV, NY, OH, OR, TX, WA, and WI. By law, all wine deliveries require an adult signature (21 years or older).
