Join us and our fellow winegrowers at an exploration of Sta. Rita Hills pinot noir!

Saturday & Sunday, 10 – 4 Open House
We will be hosting an Open House at the winery where we will feature a vertical tasting of all four vintages of Pinot Noir from ampelos vineyards as well as clonal comparisons of Pinot Noir from barrels. Get the real feel of ampelos cellars with a digital picture slideshow from the vineyard and winery, their Biodynamic farming showcase, and a Presentation of new projects.

Saturday, 4-6 Gala Reception
Your passport ticket to the Sta. Rita Hills Winegrowers Alliance includes admission to a reception at the iconic Sanford & Benedict barn on the southside of the appellation. This landmark for winegrowers was where Pinot Noir was first made in what is now the Sta. Rita Hills. Members of the Winegrowers Alliance will be there pouring their wines, complemented by a selection of gourmet domestic and imported cheeses and lively conversations with winegrowers.

Sunday’s Grand Tasting will showcase 180+ producers of pinot noir. This will be the largest single gathering of pinot producers ever.
